What a great project, I am loving it... This is all about gratitude as I care deeply about this particular bunch of goofballs, er... peoples. They were there, along for this ride right AT the beginning... heck, a pretty pivotal part of my life / career / blurr... Even before Al "freaking" Gore got involved.
I remain proud of what we did at Mackerel, I am proud of these folks and not at all surprised that they have to a person excelled at everything they have done since! Click here, for insight on who they were. BUT, I can tell ya, each and every one of them are even way more cooler NOW! Thanks guys... You know, it's an honor & a pleasure to still call these people, friends! We all have our favorite teams over the years... |

Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art... It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things that give value to survival.

...after finishing an Interactive Multimedia course in 1994, I began working atTudhope Associates in Toronto. I was the first hire in their Multimedia division. But my goal was to work at Mackerel with the cool kids. So I was hired in 1995 and worked there for three years as an Art Director developing interactive cds. I learned how to make my first web site there and would stay up late working into the night on my site. The web became my primary mode of expression.
In 1999 I decided to go to San Francisco. I worked for Xeno, a small print and web firm who are no longer around, thenHowry Design Associates who hired me to be their Head of Web Development, and then worked as a designer and producer at gravity7 in South Park in the heart of the madness. From 2000 -01, I worked with the team at oxygen/thriveonline on women's health content.I continue to do freelance web and print work, along with a ton of side projects that keep me busy. I'm thinking about getting another dog. |
