Geneva lab usa • a very very worthwhile, rewarding and interesting experience! • a reminder in writing.More than once, during the heady crazy days... The internet days; the early days. I likely sat back and wondered, perhaps wished I had it a bit, easier (?). Wouldn't life be simple if I worked chopping trees, building houses... shifting boxes around.
We'll explore many aspects of "shifting boxes around" here... AND we did shift a few. For now, I'll start with and leave it at the LinkedIn version of the story... [BO] Founding Director, NA Operations / Internet Marketing & Ecommerce Geneva Lab USA June 2005 – November 2011 (6 years 6 months) New York City Geneva Lab USA is the North American division of G-Lab Innovations, a Zurich based manufacturer of luxury lifestyle products. As a founding member of the US operation, my role was to define and implement the online retail marketing, sales and fulfillment operation. Given a set of sketches and objectives, I designed and developed a profitable e-commerce site, genevalab.com. Responsibilities included: • contracting, managing and directing site developers & designers • establishing merchant & banking facility • researching, contracting & managing 3PO warehousing and fulfillment operations • initiating, designing & managing all marketing and advertising programs including PPC, SEO, affiliate, advertising, social networking and direct • establishing & managing the customer service and loyalty programs • managing the design, implementation & the re-tooling of the e-retail site on an ongoing basis • overseeing the localization of genevalab.com to suite our global network of regional distributors in over 35 countries • overseeing the migration of business management systems to Netsuite In parallel, I managed the establishment of Geneva Lab USA's bricks & mortar wholesale distribution network. We has representation in over 100 retailers with over 300 "doors". Key retailers included Amazon, The Apple Store, Crate and Barrel, Design Within Reach, Barney's, Saks 5th Avenue along with dozens of independent design and consumer electronics specialty shops. Responsibilities included: • developing the wholesale business model • establishing pricing structures to allow for profitability in our wholesale operations • creating systems to track and manage profitability over the retail network • managing inventory requirements, overseeing forecasting & ordering over a 5 month production cycle • managing importation warehousing and retail fulfillment • working closely with our partners to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and sales and marketing practices both in store and online |

He was Founding Principal of Central Europe Telecom Investments, investment fund focused on early-stage telecommunications companies in Central and Eastern Europe. He has successful track record of entrepreneurship for more than 20 years. He serves as Chairman of United Customer Management Solutions Proprietary Limited. Mr. Lundberg has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Scala Business Solutions NV since May 2003. He served as Chairman of the Board of Click4Care, Inc. until May 2008. He serves as Director of Click4Care, Inc. He has been Member of the Supervisory Board of Scala Business Solutions NV since January 1, 2003. Mr. Lundberg served as a Director of UCMS Group Ltd. since 1995. |
